Freestyle Motocross Invades the ABBI World Bucking Bull Classic

By PBR

Not only will the American Bucking Bull, Inc. (ABBI) World Bucking Bull Classic Finals award an unprecedented $150,000 to the 2005 World Champion Classic Bull, but freestyle motocross competitors, Andy "Backstreet" Jones and Kenny "The Cowboy" Bartram, will be on hand to contribute to the excitement of the second annual event. The daring exploits of Jones and Bartram will take place when they perform a ramp to ramp freestyle motocross exhibition at the Orleans Arena. The motocross stars will be featured as an added attraction to the nightly performances taking place on Monday, October 31 and Tuesday, November 1 at 8 p.m.

Andy Jones, 21, resides in Elk City, Okla., which is coincidentally the hometown of current Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) world standings leader, Justin McBride. Jones began riding in 1990 which ultimately led to competition on the freestyle motocross circuit in 2001. Heralded as one of the most enjoyable riders to watch today, Jones made his presence known with back to back wins at the 2003 Phoenix stop of the IFMA (International Freestyle Motocross Association) beating out some of the toughest competition. Other successful outings on the IFMA Tour included stops in Oakland, Calif. and Worchester, Mass. Andy has traveled to Spain, Thailand and Costa Rica wowing fans across the globe.

Kenny Bartram is a country boy at heart whose family has been involved in competitive motorcycle sports since his great grandmother's generation. Bartram has won every major FMX competition and championship in the sport at least once and with a refreshing cowboy image has separated himself from the crowd with one of the most recognizable images in Freestyle Motocross. Bartram has not only hosted an off-road television series, but regularly assists the Outdoor Life Network (OLN) in promoting PBR events. He was recently nominated for the "Best Cameo in a country music video" award at the CMT Flameworthy Country Music Awards by the fans for his performance in Chris Cagle's, "Chicks Dig It" video. Bartram has also made it to the big screen in the feature film, "The Fantastic Four".

Andy Jones and Kenny Bartram will mystify gravity by launching themselves three stories in the air and performing tricks such as the Indian Air, Heart Attack, Kiss of Death, No-Handed Whips and the Backflip all done ramp to ramp over a 70 foot gap.
