As one leg of the ABBI Classic Series qualification program, the Cody Classic provided PBR stock contractors with the opportunity to qualify their top three and four year old bucking bulls to the ABBI World Bucking Bull Classic Finals. The elite ABBI World Bucking Bull Classic will take place in conjunction with the Professional Bull Rider's (PBR) Built Ford Tough World Finals, October 28-30 and November 3-6, 2005, in Las Vegas and will award $150,000 to the champion bucking bull. The event, which takes place at the Orleans Arena on Monday, October 31 and Tuesday, November 1 at 8:00 p.m. each evening, features the top 50 bulls in the world that compete all season to qualify. Additionally, the ADM Alliance Nutrition ABBI Futurity Finals will award $50,000 to the winner, creating a combined payout for the two events totaling over $600,000; an unprecedented first in the bucking bull industry.

Upcoming ABBI events which are currently scheduled to be held in conjunction with PBR competitions include Gillette, Wyo. on July 16; Cheyenne, Wyo. on July 24; and Tulsa, Okla. on July 29.

Minor league action sizzles during the summer months giving PBR athletes lucrative opportunities to win coveted dollars which count toward qualification for the PBR's crown jewel - the Built Ford Tough World Finals, October 28-30 and November 3-6. The PBR's U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Company Challenger Tour, Enterprise Tour, and Humps N Horns Tour will pay out a combined $500,000 in prize money during the month of July alone.
