First Round Results of the Cabela's Classic Are In!

By PBR

The preliminary go round of this weekend's Cabela's Classic, stop number 23 on the elite Built Ford Tough Series presented by Wrangler (BFTS), concluded tonight from Kemper Arena in Kansas City, Mo. The Professional Bull Riders' (PBR) Cabela's Classic will feature the elite PBR athletes back for more hard-hitting action in round two, which takes place on Sunday, June 19 at 2:00 p.m. Sunday's final performance culminates with an electrifying championship round consisting of the top 15 qualifiers, each pursuing a prestigious tour event win and ultimately the million dollar Built Ford Tough World Championship. Final round action of the Professional Bull Riders Cabela's Classic will air on the Outdoor Life Network (OLN) on Sunday, June 19 at 8:00pm. All times are Eastern Standard. Matt Bohon (Cole Camp, Mo.) stole the show when he cinched the round one victory aboard Gene Owen Bucking Bulls' Blue. As the first round victor Bohon was awarded the opportunity to compete for the Mossy Oak Shoot Out bonus money. Unfortunately Bohon did not capture this week's Mossy Oak Shoot Out bonus when Rotten Cotton, owned by Curtis Mendell, unseated him. Consequently the Mossy Oak bonus grows to $15,000.

In an unfortunate turn of events, Brazilian sensation Rogerio de Souza suffered a concussion and facial lacerations and was transported to an area hospital for further evaluation.
