'The Toughest Sport on Dirt' is Bucking to the Reno Events Center!

By PBR

The best men in bull riding are back! The Professional Bull Riders (PBR) rock into action at the EVENTS CENTER on March 4-6th, for the Heart of the West Invitational; part of the 2005 Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) presented by Wrangler. This is the 14th official stop on the 2004 BFTS season's 31-city tour.

The world's elite 45 bull riders risk life and limb each time they nod their heads and the chute gates open. These athletes are required to match wills with 2,000-pound opponents in the ultimate test of stamina and determination as they face the rankest bulls in competition today. Topping the list of competitors scheduled to attend the Heart of the West Ford Invitational is PBR World Champion and million dollar winner, Chris Shivers. Other riders scheduled to appear include Reno's own and top ranked rider, Tony Medes and powerhouse Justin McBride.

The PBR rocks into action at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, and 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. The PBR promises an up-close and personal look at the only athletes qualified to play 'the toughest sport on dirt,' surrounded by hair-raising pyrotechnics, fireworks, and rock-n-roll excitement.

Tickets start at just $15.00 and are available at all Ticketmaster locations including the Reno Events Center, or by phone at 775-787-8497.
