The PBR Mutton Bustin' was an overwhelming success in Reno with 23 local participants testing their riding abilities. Each contestant received awards, including PBR Mutton Bustin' T-shirts, as well as ever-popular PBR stickers and hat decals, bandanas, D Bar M Western Store coupons, and Reride Fan Club memberships. Additionally, all participants had the unique opportunity to meet PBR's official mascot Reride up close and in person, as well as bull riding sensations Tony Mendes, Tater Porter and Brendon Clark. The top six finishers were presented with Wrangler jeans gift certificates during the Saturday evening Heart of the West Ford Invitational performance. Kids between the ages of four and six and weighing 55 pounds or less are eligible to compete and are judged upon the skill demonstrated as they attempt to stay aboard the sheep for the required 6 seconds. Kids are outfitted with protective helmets and vests.
