Challenger Tour action sizzles during the summer months giving PBR athletes lucrative opportunities to win coveted dollars which count toward qualification for the PBR's crown jewel - the Built Ford Tough World Finals. The Challenger Tour will pay out an estimated $385,375 during the month of July alone.
As one leg of the Classic Series qualification program, the Corral West PBR Classic provided PBR stock contractors with the opportunity to get their top performers eligible for the $100,000 added ABBI Bucking Bull Classic to be held at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday, October 23rd and Sunday, October 24th. The Las Vegas event entry fees will combine with the substantial added money contributed by the PBR to create the richest event held exclusively for stock contractors and breeders in bucking bull history. This electrifying weekend at Orleans Arena also includes the highly anticipated World Bullfighting Championships. Gene Smith's bull Misfire stole the show in Gillette with an outstanding 91.5 point first round performance and an equally impressive 90 point score during second round action. Gene Smith was awarded $7,719 in ABBI dollars for his bull's efforts.
