Designed to showcase the up and coming four-legged superstars of the PBR, the Bucking Bull Classic will pay out approximately $300,000 in prize money. PBR stock contractors will enter their best three and four-year-old bulls that have qualified for the Las Vegas competition by excelling at Classic Series events held in conjunction with U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Company Challenger Tour competitions held throughout the 2004 season. Additionally, stock contractors will be consigning young bucking bulls to a lucrative ABBI Futurity to be held in conjunction with a select Bull Sale, both of which are scheduled to take place on Monday, October 25th and Tuesday, October 26th. The world's top bull fighters who are qualified to compete in the World Bullfighting Championships will be gunning for a piece of the $53,500 in added prize money. The top 50 bull riders not already entered in the World Finals will be eligible to challenge the bulls during the Bucking Bull Classic and will be riding for over $25,000 in prize money.
Tickets go on sale for the World Bullfighting Championships and Bucking Bull Classic at 10:00 a.m. pacific time on Thursday, April 29th. The Orleans Arena box office will contact those who have already purchased World Bullfighting Championships and Bucking Bull Classic event tickets through their outlets, while the PBR will contact Team PBR members who have purchased preferred seating through the PBR office.
