Kaique “The Ice Man” Pacheco is one of the most composed and consistent bull riders of his generation — a technician whose precision, discipline, and icy focus have defined the past decade of PBR competition. A third-generation cowboy from Itatiba, São Paulo, Brazil, Pacheco got on his first bull at 12 and turned professional at 17, inspired by his father, uncle, and both grandfathers. Mentored by three-time World Champion Adriano Moraes since childhood, he carried that lineage of greatness to the world stage, making his premier-series debut in 2015 and immediately shaking the sport. That season, he won two events, finished No. 2 in the world, and was crowned PBR Rookie of the Year, setting the tone for a career that would make him one of the most accomplished riders in PBR history.

Since then, the Ice Man has built a résumé few can match — a 2018 PBR World Champion, two-time PBR Teams Champion, Global Cup gold medalist, and one of only 10 riders ever to surpass 400 qualified rides. Known for his unflappable demeanor and machine-like consistency, Pacheco has finished inside the world’s Top 10 in every healthy season since 2015, including runner-up finishes in 2016, 2021 and 2022, and a third-place ranking in 2023 despite a fractured leg that kept him from the World Finals. Competing through a torn MCL and PCL in 2018, he realized his lifelong dream of winning the gold buckle, proving his grit by riding through pain to hold off Jose Vitor Leme and Cody Teel for the title.

In the PBR Teams era, Pacheco set the benchmark for clutch postseason performance. He was the first-round draft pick of the Nashville Stampede in 2022 and delivered a perfect 4-for-4 run — including three straight 90-point rides — to carry the league’s lowest-seeded team to an improbable Championship. Two years later, after joining the Austin Gamblers, he did it again, anchoring the team’s 2024 title run with four more postseason rides and becoming the first rider in history to win two PBR Teams Championships. Even after injuries, he continues to rank among the elite, closing 2024 inside the Top 10 and recording his 400th and 401st career rides in Little Rock in March 2025.
