Missouri Thunder
When it comes to bull riding, Paulo Eduardo Rossetto doesn’t play favorites — left hand, right hand, he’ll make the whistle either way. Growing up in Brazil, he used to ride with a single bull rope, flipping it around depending on which hand he felt like using that day. Now he keeps two ropes ready — one for the left and one for the right.
Born in Colorado, Brazil, Rossetto was raised in a rodeo family and began riding as a kid under the guidance of his father, Angelo, a former bull rider himself. Though soft-spoken, Rossetto’s control and balance have earned him a reputation as one of the sport’s most technically gifted competitors. After competing successfully in Brazil, he joined PBR in 2022 and was drafted by the Missouri Thunder in the first round of the 2023 Reserve Rider Draft, quickly becoming a cornerstone for the team.
Rossetto broke through in 2024 with a strong rookie campaign on the Unleash The Beast tour, qualifying for his first PBR World Finals and leading the Thunder with a team-best 60.7% riding percentage. His adaptability and calm under pressure cemented him as one of the most reliable riders in the league — and the go-to leadoff man for the Missouri Thunder.
In 2025, Rossetto helped lead the Thunder to the PBR Teams Championship Game in Las Vegas, delivering a highlight weekend at T-Mobile Arena. He marked 90.75 points on Constant Payne in the Last Chance Game to claim Day 1 MVP honors, then anchored Missouri through Championship Sunday to cap the team’s historic postseason run. That season was especially meaningful, as his parents traveled from Brazil to watch him ride in person for the first time on U.S. soil.
Off the dirt, Rossetto lives in Decatur, Texas, with his wife, Jessica. He stays grounded through faith, family and farm work, often spending his downtime fishing or enjoying barbecue. His lifelong love of country music — especially George Strait — keeps him connected to the cowboy lifestyle that’s defined his journey.
