Give it up for Cassio Dias. Ranked No. 1 in the Unleash The Beast World Championship standings for most of the season, the rookie phenom won his seventh event in Louisville, Kentucky. Not only did this put him even further ahead of his closest competition, it leaves him one win away from tying the single-season record for most event wins.
Right behind Dias in the No. 2 rank, 18-year-old John Crimber isn’t resting on his laurels as World Finals approaches – he’ll be heading to the Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour Finals this weekend.
On the outside looking in for most of the season, Andrew Alvidrez won Round 1 in Louisville and finished fifth overall, cracking the Top 40 of the standings and punching his ticket to the World Finals.
