Part 2: Who is the best bull in PBR history? Current riders weigh in
What better way to celebrate YETI Bull Week than bringing up the great debate?
PUEBLO, Colo. – As PBR.com celebrates some of the best wrecks, rides and good boys during YETI Bull Week, we’re continuing the countdown of the Top 30 bull riders and bovine athletes as PBR celebrates 30 years of bucking greatness.
In reviewing three decades of matchups, the ever-elusive answer to the GOAT question often depends on perspective.
When, or where, you grew up.
How close you were to the riders, stock contractors and animal athletes who put on the show.
Whether or not you’ve ridden a bull yourself.
Or, maybe, there was a specific ride that’ll forever be etched into your memory.
With the official return of the PBR Camping World Team Series, where the bulls allowed just 19 qualified rides in more than 70 attempts, the talented pack of bovines reminded everyone exactly who’s in charge.

Cowboys are pretty good at keeping to themselves for the most part, but when it comes to a question as difficult as “Who is the best bull of all time?” opinions are very much welcome.
Whether it’s personal favorites or some of the most electric competitors in PBR history, some truly incredible animal athletes are represented in their answers, and forever in our hearts.

Brady Oleson: “I used to like to watch J.B. Mauney go against Bushwacker all the time. That was a pretty good watching. If I’m riding, it’s gotta be Woopaa. Woopaa is a bull that I would definitely want to pick.”
Daylon Swearingen: “I’m going to go with SweetPro’s Bruiser. I think he was a great bull throughout his whole career. He has a ton of money earned, so I think it’s gotta be SweetPro’s Bruiser.”
Doubling down on the bovine legend, Swearingen’s Carolina Cowboys teammate Boudreaux Campbell quickly agreed.
Boudreaux Campbell: “Bruiser, 32Y. I haven’t rode Bruiser and I needed to ride him, but it’s too late now.”

The top buckoffs from the rankest bull in the PBR!
Daniel Keeping: “Favorite bull … that’s going to be hard. Troubador or an old bull Chicken On A Chain. Can’t go wrong with those two. Honest every time and they just want to buck. (Chicken) That bull did a lot of business. From a sell barn bull too, not being like a high pedigree, that bull went a long way.
Keyshawn Whitehorse: “That’s a really tough one. My mentor Robson Palermo rode a yellow bull … big yellow bull around to the left. Oh, Robson Palermo when he rode Smackdown! He rode him a couple of times, but I think the first time he rode him it was pretty cool.”

Bob Mitchell: “Prolly have to go with SweetPro’s Bruiser.”

Wyatt Rogers: “Favorite bull … Probably Bruiser. He never had an off day and that bull bucked so hard each time. Wish I could’ve gotten on him before he was retired, but unfortunately it didn’t happen.”
