The Austin Gamblers just can’t seem to stop winning, and the domination continued this weekend at the PBR Camping World Team Series stop on their home turf. Plus, the Carolina Cowboys returned to form, the Arizona Ridge Riders had their second hot weekend in a row, and more. Miss a moment of the action this weekend? Here’s what happened around the PBR.
On the PBR Team Series…
AUSTIN, DAY 1
The Cowboys snapped a three-game losing streak with a resounding win over the Texas Rattlers…
…and their head coach knows they have it in them to keep on winning.
The Ridge Riders rode three bulls to defeat the Missouri Thunder and keep their hot streak going.
In the closest game of the night, the Nashville Stampede beat the Oklahoma Freedom by .5 points.
AUSTIN, DAY 2
The Gamblers kept on rolling on day two in Austin, defeating the Rattlers in the battle for Texas.
Led by Jose Vitor Leme and Dalton Kasel, the Gamblers know that what they’re doing is special.
The Outlaws rebounded following their loss, leaving no doubt in their defeat of the Stampede.
The Cowboys also notched another win, this time over the Ridge Riders.
The Freedom only notched one score against the Thunder, but it was good enough to take the win.
AUSTIN, DAY 3
For the first time this season, no extra outs were needed to determine an event winner, as the Gamblers cruised past the Freedom to stand as the only team with a 3-0 record.
The Outlaws closed out their weekend with a win over the Cowboys, improving to No. 2 in the season standings.
The Ridge Riders squeaked out a win against the Stampede to notch their second consecutive 2-1 showing at an event.
Keyshawn Whitehorse shook off his slow start for Arizona, securing the walk-off win and helping his team improve to 4-2 in the last two events.
The Rattlers finally got into the win column on Sunday, defeating the Thunder in a one-ride battle.
Meanwhile, on the Challenger Series…
