Miss a moment of the action this weekend? Here’s what happened around the PBR.
It’s one thing to win a premier series event. It’s another thing to ride for 90-plus points three times to win a premier series event, and that’s exactly what Mauricio Moreira did. Plus, Woopaa throws down another huge score, Venn Johns laughed in the face of Father Time, and more. Miss a moment of the action this weekend? Here’s what happened around the PBR.
On the Unleash The Beast…
Mauricio Moreira had a huge weekend in Glendale, Arizona. After three 90-point rides – including a walk-off in the championship round – he had his second event win of the season and now holds the world No. 2 ranking.
Moreira started out hot by winning Round 1, and his momentum never slowed down.
You know who else isn’t slowing down? Reigning YETI World Champion Bull and current No. 2 Woopaa, who scored 46.5 points to keep pace with No. 1 Ridin Solo.
Eduardo Aparecido won the first Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour event of his career last weekend. In Glendale, he kept things going with a fifth-place finish in Round 1 in Glendale.
Glendale is home to the Arizona Ridge Riders of the PBR Team Series, and newly announced coaches Paulo Crimber and Colby Yates were on hand to do some scouting and meet their new fan base.
