It’s a feat never before seen in PBR history. With his 90.75-point ride aboard Show Me Homie in Round 1 of the PBR Ariat Music City Knockout, presented by Cooper Tires, in Nashville, world No. 1 Jose Vitor Leme moved ahead of Cody Hart for most 90-point rides in a season in PBR history with 17.
This is the second time this season that Leme has made history. Three weeks ago in Tulsa, Oklahoma, he rode Woopaa for 97.75 points -- the highest score in PBR history.
On the season overall, Leme is 35-for-55 – nearly half of his rides this season have been for more than 90 points – with four event wins and two 15/15 Bucking Battle wins.
It’s been pure dominance for the reigning World Champion as he looks to become only the second rider to defend his world title.
Take a look back at the Brazilian phenom’s 17 90-point rides, and stay tuned for what will surely be more 90-point fireworks.
