SOLID SEVENTEEN – The Built Ford Tough Series will visit St. Louis for the 17th year, Friday, Feb. 14, Saturday, Feb. 15 and Sunday, Feb. 16. Bull riding begins at 8 p.m. CT on both Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. CT on Sunday.
UP NEXT – The BFTS will stick to the Show Me State next week with a stop in Kansas City, Mo. This will be the 11th year in a row and 13th overall when the Sprint Center hosts the PBR Saturday, Feb. 22, at 8 p.m., and Sunday, Feb. 23, at 2:50 p.m.
PAST ST. LOUIS EVENT WINNERS – Both three-time World Champion Adriano Moraes and two-time World Champion Chris Shivers won the St. Louis event in back-to-back years. FORMAT – This weekend, the Top 35 bull riders on the BFTS will compete in Round 1 on Friday night, Round 2 on Saturday night and Round 3 on Sunday afternoon, facing one bull each round. The riders with the Top 15 scores after three rounds will advance to the Built Ford Tough Championship Round on Sunday for an additional ride and a chance at the $30,000 event title.
POSSIBLE POINTS - There are 1,200 possible points available in St. Louis as the winner of the event will receive 400 points and each of the four round wins is worth 100 points plus the ride score.
PROVIDING PROTECTION - The Dickies® Bullfighters are Jesse Byrne of Okotoks, Alberta; Shorty Gorham of Cotulla, Texas; and Frank Newsom of Paoli, Okla.
TELEVISION BROADCAST – PBR LIVE will broadcast the St. Louis Invitational, presented by Cooper Tires, at 8 p.m. CT on Friday, Feb. 14, and Saturday, Feb. 15, and at 2 p.m. CT on Sunday, Feb. 16.
CBS Sports Network will broadcast Round 2 on Saturday at 10 p.m. ET, as well as Round 3 and the championship round on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET.
Veteran broadcaster Craig Hummer will provide the play-by-play; color commentary will be provided by two-time World Champion Justin McBride, while Leah Garcia will handle dirt-level interviews.
