TUCSON, Ariz. – 2002 PBR World Champion Ednei Caminhas (Indaiatuba, Brazil) won his first Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour (RVT) event Sunday afternoon inside Tucson Arena.

Caminhas was the only rider to go 3-for-3 on the weekend at the Ak-Chin Tucson Clash. He earned the victory Sunday after riding Time Shared (Jenkins Cattle Co.) for 87 points in Round 2 and Grave Digger (Viducic Bucking Bulls) for 86.5 points in the championship round. The 42-year-old earned $6,300 and 80 points toward the world standings.

Alex Cardozo (Indaiatuba, Brazil) solidified the second-place slot. Cardozo was bucked off in Round 2, but covered Luke (Rocking I Rodeo Co.) in the championship round for 87.5 points. The finish earned him $4,700 and 50 points toward the world standings.

Third place went to Tye Chandler (Celina, Texas), who snatched 30 points toward the world standings and $3,000. Chandler rode Gumby (Jenkins Cattle Co) in Round 2 for 85.5 points and Gas Pedal (Humpz and Hornz / KMH) for 86 points in the championship round.

Taylor Toves (Stephenville, Texas) was bucked off in Round 2, but he was able to earn the fourth-place spot after riding Uncle Fester (Humpz and Hornz / Sis & Stan Bucking Bulls) for 82.5 points in the championship round. He took home a check for $1,600 and 20 points toward the world standings.

Robson Aragao (Aracaju Sergipe, Brazil) rounded out the Top 5 after he rode Game Changer (Humpz and Hornz / Sis & Stan Bucking Bulls) in Round 2 for 71 points before eventually bucking off GOOD RIDE’S Jailbreaker (John Peck / Kaplow Insurance / Viducic Bucking Bulls) in the championship round. Aragao earned 15 points toward the world standing and a check for $1,040.

The next stop on the Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour will be in Las Vegas for the Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour Finals, Oct. 28-30 at South Point Arena.
