THIS WEEK - The Professional Bull Riders Built Ford Tough Series returns to Thackerville, Okla., for the third consecutive year with the WinStar World Casino Invitational at WinStar World Casino. Bull riding will begin at 8 p.m. CT on Friday, Aug. 30 and Saturday, Aug. 31.

ON DECK - The BFTS will travel back to California next weekend. The Ariat Invitational in Oakland will take place at 8 p.m. PT on Friday, Sept. 6 and 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7.

PAST WINSTAR WORLD CASINO INVITATIONAL WINNERS - Brothers-in-law Jordan Hupp and Harve Stewart are the two riders who have won the Thackerville event in the past. Hupp took the title in 2011, while Stewart won last season.

FORMAT - This weekend, the Top 35 bull riders on the BFTS will compete in Round 1 on Friday night and Round 2 on Saturday night, facing one bull each day. The riders with the Top 10-15 scores after two rounds will advance to the Built Ford Tough Championship Round for an additional ride and a chance at the $30,000 event title.

POSSIBLE POINTS - There are 900 possible points available in Thackerville, as the winner of the event will receive 300 points and each of the three round-wins is worth 100 points, plus the ride score.

PROVIDING PROTECTION - The Dickies® DuraBullfighters protecting the riders this weekend are Jesse Byrne of Okotoks, Alberta; Shorty Gorham of Cotulla, Texas; and Frank Newsom of Paoli, Okla.

TELEVISION BROADCAST - CBS Sports Network will broadcast the PURE PBR Round 1 Friday at 10:30 p.m. ET. The WinStar World Casino Invitational's Round 2 and the championship round will also be a PURE PBR broadcast and air on Saturday at 11 p.m. ET on CBS SN.

Both PURE PBR broadcasts will include commentary from Craig Hummer, J.W. Hart and Dickies® DuraBullfighter Shorty Gorham, while dirt-level interviews will be handled by Leah Garcia. The Pure PBR broadcasts provide a new approach, including everything from candid moments between rides to various opportunities for the broadcasters to not only explain, but also visually illustrate whatever point they're trying to make. Expect Hummer, Hart, Gorham and Garcia to take viewers inside the world of the PBR, spending one-on-one time with riders before their respective rides and giving viewers a chance to listen in on the one-of-a-kind conversation.
