HEADED FOR WASHINGTON - The PBR Built Ford Tough Series makes its way back to Tacoma this weekend for the first time since 2009. The 10th stop on the 2013 BFTS, the Tacoma Invitational takes place at 6:50 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 10.

ON DECK - The BFTS will travel to California next weekend for a third time this season. The Table Mountain Casino Invitational in Fresno, Calif., takes place at 6:50 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 17.

FORMAT - This weekend, the Top 35 bull riders on the BFTS will compete in Round 1 on Saturday night and Round 2 on Sunday afternoon, each facing one bull each day. The riders with the top 10-15 scores after two rounds will advance to the Built Ford Tough Championship Round for one more ride and a chance at the $30,000 event title.

POSSIBLE POINTS  - There are 900 possible points available in Tacoma, as the winner of the event will receive 300 points, plus 100 points for each round win and 100 possible points for each ride score.

PROVIDING PROTECTION -The Dickies DuraBullfighters protecting the riders this weekend are Jesse Byrne of Okotoks, Alberta; Shorty Gorham of Cotulla, Texas; and Frank Newsom of Paoli, Okla.

TELEVISION BROADCAST - The PBR Live Event Center will broadcast Round 1 of the Tacoma Invitational at 9:50 p.m. ET on Saturday, March 3. Round 2 and the championship round will air on CBS Sports Network Sunday evening at 8 p.m. ET.

BONUS BULL  - As the previous event winner, Austin Meier will face off against Chocolate Thunder (Bird Bucking Bulls) Saturday night for a potential bonus of $3,000 during the bonus round. A possible 100 bonus points for a successful ride, plus the ride score, go to the rider's world standings total, but are not counted toward their Tacoma Invitational event points. Meier won the Dickies Iron Cowboy IV last weekend.
